Terms of Service
Effective date: June 16, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of academy.multilingual-tech.com (the “Site”) and the courses offered by MLT Academy, a service of MultiLingual Technologies, Inc. (“MLT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in a course or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or enroll. Our courses require bilingual fluency; no prior interpreting or medical experience is required. Course content is provided in English and is oriented to interpreting practice in the United States.
2. The service
MLT Academy provides self-paced online training. Our flagship course, the 40-Hour Medical Interpreter Training, includes 8 sections, 126 video lessons, 650 practice questions, a 100-question final exam, 15+ hours of video, and 250+ pages of reference materials. Enrollment grants you access for one year (12 months) from your date of purchase.
3. Certificate of completion — please read carefully
Upon passing the final exam (an 85% passing threshold), you receive a certificate of completion documenting 40 hours of training.
This certificate is not the CCHI or NBCMI certification. National certification is granted solely by the certifying bodies (CCHI and NBCMI) through their own processes. MLT Academy does not grant certification, does not determine your eligibility for certification, and does not guarantee that you will pass any certification exam, obtain certification, or obtain employment. Eligibility requirements for certification are set and verified by the certifying bodies, not by MLT.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are for a single individual; sharing access or credentials with others is prohibited.
5. Payment and term
The course is $289 per year, charged as a one-time payment with no automatic renewal. Your access continues for 12 months from the date of purchase. We will not automatically charge you again. At the end of your term, your access ends; you may re-enroll if you wish to continue.
6. Refunds
Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy. Please review it before purchasing.
7. Intellectual property and license
All course content, including videos, materials, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks on the Site, is the property of MultiLingual Technologies, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.
