MLT Academy (“MLT Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a service of MultiLingual Technologies, Inc. (“MLT”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit academy.multilingual-tech.com (the “Site”) or enroll in our courses. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us:
- Your name and email address when you contact us through our contact form.

Information collected automatically:
- Standard server log data, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and timestamps.
- Functional cookies that are necessary to operate the Site (for example, to keep you logged in and to maintain your shopping cart). We do not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies.
Payment information:
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Your full payment card details are handled by that processor and are not stored on our servers.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide and administer your course access and account.
- Process your payment and send you order- and account-related communications (such as receipts, access information, and important course updates).
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our courses.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or share it for advertising or any other purpose.
3. How we share your information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — for example, our payment processor, our website hosting provider, and our email/communication tools — and only as needed for them to perform services on our behalf under agreements that limit their use of the information.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this Policy and provide any required opt-out controls before doing so.
4. Cookies
We use functional cookies that are necessary for the Site to work, such as those that maintain your login session and shopping cart. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the Site may not function properly if you do.
5. Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide your course, and afterward only as required to meet our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.
6. How we protect your information
We use industry-standard measures, including SSL/TLS encryption, to protect information transmitted through the Site. Payment data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor and is not stored on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your California privacy rights
We honor the following rights for California residents. If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. (Note: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is currently nothing to opt out of.)

- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at jonathan@multilingual-tech.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law (generally within 45 days).
